Ruptured gas line in downtown Charleston secured

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — A ruptured gas line in downtown Charleston has been secured, according to officials.

Details are limited, but according to the fire department, the ruptured gas line was near 7 Meeting Street.

SCE&G responded.

Meeting Street between S. Battery and Lamboll was closed to traffic. Officials say the roads are expected to reopen in within the next 20-30 minutes.
