NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The murder trial for the teenager charged in connection with a 2015 Mother’s Day shooting will be in court this week.
Kenneth Lamont Robinson, Jr. is facing multiple charges, including four counts of attempted murder, murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The charges stem from the death of Kadena Brown on May 10, 2015, in North Charleston.
Police say the shooters confused Brown’s car with another car they exchanged fire with moments earlier. Four rounds were shot into the driver’s side door or window, striking her at least once.
Derrontae P. Holmes, Nigela Tamika Brown, Charmani Keperiche Shark-McDonald, Richard D. Simmons, were also arrested in connection with Brown’s murder.
