Polar plunge raises money for Special Olympics

ISLE OF PALMS, SC (WCBD) – South Carolina Law Enforcement Torch run is holding their annual Polar Plunge to raise money for Special Olympics.

The event is being held at the Windjammer on the Isle of Palms, Saturday February 17th. The pre-party and registration starts at 10:30 AM and around noon is when participants will plunge into the chilly Atlantic waters.

A minimum of a $50 donation earns you a Plunge T-shirt and tickets for free food and drinks.
