Indoor playground opening at Citadel Mall

Citadel Mall announced today that OutSlide In is opening a 7,778SF indoor playground, located in the Belk wing of the shopping center. This is a new recreational concept to the Charleston area offering multiple play activities and birthday party rooms for kids and families.

OutSlide In’s unique layout will provide play areas for toddlers (0-3 years), preschool/elementary age children (3-8 years) and older children (8-12 years) to enjoy. The location will feature a multi-level soft play structure with slides, climbing obstacles, tunnels and bridges, as well as a ‘mini city’ to inspire imagination play for younger children. In addition, OutSlide In will offer three party rooms available to rent for special occasions, and plans to incorporate rotating themes to keep the OutSlide In experience fresh and exciting every season.

Business owners, Daniel and Jena Favors, have two young children of their own and understand the importance of having a safe, fun place for kids to run off their energy, while also being an enjoyable atmosphere for parents as well. “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Citadel Mall and offering an exciting new recreational space for local and traveling families,” says Jena. “As parents ourselves, we saw an opportunity to improve the indoor play experience, and continuously build upon it. We wanted to bring the ‘outside in’ to create a one-of-a-kind indoor playground that’s not only fun for kids as they engage in active and creative play, but comfortable for parents.”

In addition to the playground, a café and lounge area will be tailored to the parent experience.

OutSlide In plans to open late Spring 2018.
