U-Haul truck stolen from Sumter County business

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person or people responsible for stealing a U-Haul truck.

Authorities say on Thursday, January 18, the unknown person or people entered the Fickling Garage business at 1555 Mason Road and stole a 17 foot long U-Haul truck with Arizona tag AD26559.

The truck also had a tag number EL1493M on the back top right corner of the cargo bed.

We’re told there were decal pictures of zebra heads on both sides of the truck and embossed with the U-Haul logo.
