A company that makes medical devices is bringing dozens of new jobs to Goose Creek.
MED-ALLY has invested $2.38 million dollars in a state-of-the-art manufacturing center on Bushy Park Road. The facility is expected to create 90 new jobs.
The company specializes in active implantable medical devices for spinal cord injuries, chronic pain, traumatic brain injuries and movement disorders.
MED-ALLY’s 10,000 square-foot plant is expected to be fully operational in March. The company is already hiring for new technical positions.
“It’s always exciting when a company decides to locate new operations in South Carolina, and we’re pleased to welcome such an innovative firm that’s focused on cutting-edge advanced manufacturing,” said Gov. Henry McMaster. “I congratulate them on this new investment and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them here.”
