Group gives away free Christmas trees in Charleston County

CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) — If your family still needs a Christmas tree, you can get one for free in Charleston County.

The Delancey Street Foundation is a facility for men struggling with substance abuse and/or homelessness.

The group’s residents run a Christmas tree lot each year for a fundraiser.

The group is giving away the remaining trees December 21-22.

There are also other decorations and toys available.

The Delancey Street Foundation has two tree lots. You can visit either location in Park Circle in North Charleston or Citadel Mall in West Ashley.
