RESTAURANT REPORT CARD: Grades for week of November 23-29


CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCBD) — The Department of Health and Environmental Control gave no C grades to restaurants in the Charleston area during the week of November 23-29. However, inspectors did give 3 B grades during routine inspections.

The Glass Onion in West Ashley received a B, in part, for improper cooling times and temperatures. Cold holding temperatures for other foods also were not met.

Tanner Hall Public House in Hanahan also received a B grade for cold foods stored at too warm of temperatures.  Red’s Ice House on John’s Island also received a similar violation.

There were 73 A grades for Charleston County.
