CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Officials have announced the date and time for the Charleston City Christmas Parade.
The parade will be held Sunday, December 3 from 3 – 5 p.m.
We’re told it will start at Broad Street and Rutledge Avenue.
The procession will then travel east on Broad Street, turn north onto King Street, and turn east on Calhoun Street. It will end at Marion Square.
“No vehicles will be allowed to park on the parade route with the exception of Broad St,” according to a news release.
The parade route will be closed to all vehicular traffic about 2 p.m. Sunday because of a large amount of arriving viewers that will line the street.
Parking Enforcement Officers will bag parking meters on Saturday evening for this event.
“Citizens please don’t park your vehicles along the parade route. Those vehicles will be towed,” officials added.
