Suspect in drug store, convenience store robberies arrested

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) — The man who police say is responsible for a string of armed robberies in Mount Pleasant is in police custody.

Christian James Lose, 49, is charged with three counts of armed robbery. The charges stem from the armed robberies at CVS on South Shelmore, Rite Aid on Highway 17, and the BP Station on Coleman Blvd.

Lose was taken into custody on Sunday, November 26 at 10:50 p.m. after the vehicle he was driving was seen coming into Mount Pleasant from the Ravenel Bridge.

Lose was taken into custody without incident, authorities say.
