CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCBD) — During the week before Thanksgiving, many people have their minds focused on the holiday meal. However, after all the leftovers are gone, many may visit Charleston-area restaurants.
The Department of Health and Environmental Control visited several restaurants in the Charleston area to assign health grades.
During the week of November 16-November 21, 39 Charleston County restaurants received an A grade.

Einstein Bros. Bagels in downtown Charleston received a C grade due to improper cold holding temperatures.
An inspector typically returns for a follow-up report within 10 days.
For example, Kilwin’s in Charleston received a B grade on November 8. However, on November 17, an inspector returned and assigned the restaurant an A.
