BOSTON, Mass. (WJBF) – The Boston University CTE Center released Hernandez’s brain autopsy Thursday.

Researchers say the 27-year-old Hernandez had significant brain damage that’s usually seen in someone 20 years older.

Hernandez took his own life in prison back in April.

He was serving a life sentence for murder at the time.
