CCSD Students lost 1800 hours of classroom time because of bus problems

A new study shows students in Charleston County are losing thousands of hours in the classroom because of problem buses.

Tonight the Charleston County School Board will hear from the district’s Transportation Department about the problem.

A report released today shows students lost 1804.9  hours of classroom instruction time because of late buses just in the month of September.

The top schools impacted by the broken down buses are Stall High, Laing Middle, and Wando High.
