Man dead following North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — One person is dead following a shooting in North Charleston, Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say on October 10 at about 3:30 p.m. officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Redwood Street and Spruill Avenue.

Officers located a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor.

We are working to learn his identity from the Charleston County Coroner’s Office.
