South Carolina rated 5th worst state for DUI

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD)– A new study rates South Carolina as the fifth worst state in the country for driving under the influence.

Backgroundchecks.org published the study using information from the Center for Disease Control and the Department of Transportation.

The study says there were more than 16,000 DUI arrests in South Carolina last year.
