Authorities investigate armed robbery in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Authorities are investigating an armed robbery in North Charleston.

According to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor, on Thursday, March 2 at 11:06 p.m., officers responded to an armed robbery at the Sunoco on Dorchester Road.

We’re told the suspect entered the Sunoco, armed with a handgun. The suspect told the victim to open the cash register and hand over the money. The victim complied and suspect exited the store.

The suspect described the suspect as a 6’2, African-American male, in his thirties, with a stocky build, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, and a black scarf over his face.
