Authorities investigating North Charleston convenience store robbery

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Authorities are investigating a robbery in North Charleston Monday morning.

According to the North Charleston Police Department, officers responded to the Kangaroo convenience store at 3689 Dorchester Rd.

An employee says an African-American male wearing all black, a camouflage face mask and black gloves pointed a firearm her to give him all of the money in the cash register. The suspect then fled the store on foot running down Stark Lane towards Ferrara Dr, according to spokesman Spencer Pryor.
