NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Roller hockey is the most popular extra-curricular sport in South Carolina but those players who do participate, stick together when times are tough.
James Parker is described by his teammates as “one of the most devoted roller hockey players in North Charleston’s ROller hockey group.”
Parker’s 14-year-old son, Joshua, is battling leukemia and with the holidays approaching, the team wanted to do something to lift the financial burden on the family so they planned a fundraiser, a 3v3 round-robin roller hockey tournament.
