DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Dorchester County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the person killed in a crash on Interstate 26, Tuesday afternoon.
Coroner Alice Durr says Herbert Raymond Farmer, 54, of Moncks Corner was traveling westbound on I-26 on November 29 at 7:05 a.m. when he lost control of his car near mile marker 169. He left the road and then crashed into a tree.
Farmer was pronounced dead at the scene. Durr says Famer died from head trauma. He death has been ruled an accident.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
