California (AP)- Police say a Northern California mother of two who went missing nearly a month ago has been found safe and in stable condition.
The Sacramento Bee (http://bit.ly/2fteDaY) reported Thursday that Sherri Papini is receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Department says she is also being interviewed by detectives from its major crimes unit.
Authorities did not elaborate.
Papini, 34, vanished Nov. 2 after leaving home to jog.
Her husband, Keith, reported her missing when she didn’t arrive to pick up their two young children from day care.
Searchers had previously combed an area around Mountain Gate, an unincorporated community near Redding, in Northern California’s Shasta County.
Her family and an anonymous donor also offered rewards in an effort to find her.
