Dr. Ben Carson accepted the secretary post for the U.S. Housing and Urban Development, the Wall Street Journal reports.

On Tuesday, November 22, President-elect Trump announced on Twitter that he was considering Dr. Carson to lead HUD.

The comment on Twitter comes a week after Carson let it be known that he is not interested in being considered for any position in the Trump administration.

Last week, Carson business manager Armstrong Williams said Carson had opted out of being considered for any position, including as head of the Department of Health and Human Services or the Education Department.

In a post on Facebook on Wednesday, November 23, it seems as if Carson has done an about-face when it comes to holding a position in the Trump Administration.
