Only 300 calories for a chorizo burrito at Chipotle Mexican Grill? Not so fast.

Three California customers have filed a class-action lawsuit against the food chain, accusing it of not appropriately representing the number of calories in its chorizo burrito, according to MyNewsLA.

Photos of Chipotle’s menu boards at several restaurants show an image of a chorizo burrito and a calorie count at the bottom.

Representatives from Chipotle did not immediately respond to CNBC’s request for comment. However, they did respond to several Twitter followers.

“I’m sorry for the confusion, but we’ll make things more clear next time,” the company responded in one Tweet. “The 300 calories is for the chorizo.”

The three customers are seeking unspecified damages and an injunction that would prohibit Chipotle from posting misleading information about its products.
