U.S. Coast Guard officials find missing boaters

MCCLELLANVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is responding to a reported water rescue, according to Charleston County Dispatch.

The call came in at 4:23 a.m. on Monday, November 21.

At 5:33 a.m., officials were still on the scene at the McClellanville Boat Landing on Pinckney Street.

According to the Awendaw-McClellanville Fire District, U.S. Coast Guard officials found the missing boaters near Ceder Island in the Santee Coastal Reserve.
