Man arrested after crashing into Berkeley Co. home and running away

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has arrested a man who crashed into a home and took off.

An occupant of the home suffered minor injuries but no specifics are available at this time.

According to BCSO officials, Fredrick Hayes Kellar, 24, of Goose Creek was arrested on Thursday, November 17. He crashed into a home on Princeton Road on Wednesday night.

Detectives identified Kellar as the driver of the vehicle, which contained 355 grams of marijuana.

Kellar faces several charges including Failure to stop for a blue light, Possession of drugs, and evading arrest.
