NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston Animal Society is holding their annual Chili Cook-Off and Oyster Roast Saturday, November 19.
More than 100 teams are registered to compete in North Charleston at Riverfront Park.Contestants will be vying for honors in three categories; Traditional, Unique, and Best in Show.
For just $25, community members can go out to eat all the chili and oysters anyone could want. The event also includes pet adoptions, live music, Kid’s Zone, TV Football Zone, bubble soccer, corn hole, and beer garden.
All money raised goes to Toby’s Fund which contributes $500,000 a year to save animals hit by cars and suffering from medical conditions.
