Police: SC man makes bomb threat against White House

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A North Myrtle Beach man was arrested after police said he told them a bomb was at the White House.

According to a press release from the City of North Myrtle Beach, Justin M. McCoy, 25, was arrested Tuesday on charges of making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat.

McCoy called NMB Public Safety Communications telling officers that there was a bomb in the White House and that there was a bomb in an undisclosed location in Charleston, SC., the release stated.

An officer met with McCoy and McCoy reaffirmed that a bomb was in the White House.
