Two recovering following shooting in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department is investigating following a shooting, Tuesday evening.

Authorities say shortly before 5 p.m. on November 8, officers responded to the 2600 block of Oregon Avenue in reference to a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Medics transported the man to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the area of Accabee Rd and E. Surrey Dr and drove to Oregon Street. A second victim showed up at MUSC for treatment from a gunshot wound.
