LOS ANGELES (AP) – The gunman who killed a federal security officer and wounded three other people at Los Angeles International Airport in 2013 is set to appear in court for sentencing Monday.

Prosecutors say 26-year-old Paul Ciancia had “plotted to commit mass murder one of the nation’s foremost transportation hubs” and has shown no remorse.

Prosecutors are asking for 60 years on top of a mandatory life sentence in federal prison. Ciancia pleaded guilty to murder and 10 other charges.
