Person killed in single-vehicle crash in Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating following a deadly crash in Orangeburg County.

Troopers say on Wednesday, November 2 at 5:30 p.m., the driver of a 1998 Honda sedan traveling on US 176 ran off the right side of the road, striking a tree.

We’re told the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was killed in the crash.

We are working to learn the identity of the victim from the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office.
