Manhunt ends with Oklahoma suspect dead

LEEDEY, Okla. (AP) – A week long manhunt for an Oklahoma man wanted in a string of violent crimes has ended.

The U.S. Marshals Service says 38-year-old Michael Dale Vance Jr. was shot and killed Sunday night by a highway patrolman Dewey County.

Vance was accused in a string of carjackings, the shooting and wounding of two police officers and the murders of two relatives. Vance even posted himself on social media.
