Lady’s Island homicide victim identified as Eulia Moon

Beaufort, SC (WCBD)- The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a homicide on Lady’s Island as 47-year-old Eulia Moon.

Her boyfriend, 44-year-old Jamie Robinson, has been charged with murder, according to authorities.

Just after midnight, Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a female gunshot victim Little Capers Road.

When they arrived, deputies found Moon had been been shot while sitting in Robinson’s car.

Robinson had fled the scene prior to their arrival.

During their investigation, authorities received a call that Robinson was at a residence on Sams Point Road.

Deputies and investigators found and detained Robinson at that location.

Robinson was interviewed and then arrested for attempted murder and taken to Beaufort County Detention Center.

A short time later, the coroner reported that Moon had died from the gunshot wound at MUSC and Robinson charge was changed to murder.

There is no bond date set as of yet for Robinson.
