Threats cause high school football game to be canceled tonight

Charleston, SC (WCBD)- Administrators from North Charleston High and Garrett Academy have decided to cancel the football games tonight between both teams due to threats of violence resulting from recent tragedies.

Officials say the students and their well-being are most important and the cancellation is their way of ensuring safety.

The varsity football games was supposed to be held at the Attaway-Heinsohn stadium in North Charleston, administrators say the game will not be rescheduled.
