HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Just one day after friends and family gathered to honor the life of a tow truck driver hit and killed by an alleged drunk driver, another tragedy struck.
They are now searching for the person responsible for vandalizing a memorial set up to honor the life of Troy McGuire. Friends and family had placed a shirt and a hat along the side of road to honor his life, but now they claim those items are missing.
In a Facebook post on Monday night from McGuire’s sister-in-law, Corsandra Yeatman, wrote:
All I got to say, who steals Troy McGuire Shirt and Hat off I75 today, my big brother stuff we put up there for a Memorial for us, his family and his friends is very disrespectful, just something else we did not need, someone stealing his stuff from a loving caring person who got his life taken from him and now someone going to take even more from [our] family, really if anyone knows or hear who did it please let me know.
If you have any information about where those items could be, you can call Sunpoint Automotive and Towing at 813-645-7653.
