(WCBD) — Students across the Lowcountry missed several days of school during and after Hurricane Matthew now, districts are planning their make-up days.
In Charleston County, January 2 and June 5 will be instructional makeup days for students. June 6 and June 7 will be converted to professional development days for teachers. All other personnel will follow administrative guidelines currently in place.
Berkeley County School District will have makeup days on February 17 and April 17.
In Dorchester District 2, so far, October 17, January 2, and February 20 are now makeup days for students.
In Dorchester District 4, January 2, and January 13 will serve as makeup days for students.
In Colleton County, February 17, March 17, and April 17 will serve as make-up days. June 1 and June 2 will be used as two additional make-up days. February 16, March 16, May 30, and May 31 will be regular school days instead of early dismissal days. June 1 and 2 will be early dismissal days.
Students in Georgetown County will have half days on November 11 and January 13. January 12 will be a full day for students.
