At least 2 wounded in North Charleston shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — North Charleston Police officers are investigating a reported shooting on Thursday morning that left at least two people injured.

It happened just before 1:30 a.m. near Ashley Phosphate and Mazyck, according to North Charleston Police Department officials. Officers heard the shots fired. At the intersection, they found a black truck in the median with a victim suffering from a wound to his back side. A second victim was found at the Best Western with a minor wound.
