Sharing faith, loving family, celebrating diversity, experiencing art and achieving academic excellence.. are the core values of CCS. School leaders say they provide a well-rounded educational experience grounded in the tradition of the roman catholic faith for families of all religious backgrounds. Principal Fred McKay says,
“We have different art forms, the visual arts, performing arts, music, band, all these different art forms, creative writing. They have this opportunity everyday and the reason why we do it is because we believe we can blend the creative thinking side along with the critical and analytical side of the brain, and by merging these things on a daily basis we think it leads to a well rounded student.”
“It’s just a great place to be. Everyone knows all the students. It’s kind of a little family of its own, ” says eighth-grade student Michael Stebbins. Teacher MaggieSantiago says, “I absolutely love our family environment here, not only as a teacher but also a parent. It’s so comforting to know that the teachers and faculty staff and student body we all look toward each other as a family so it’s great foundation for all of us. We’re just an amazing school. We have an awesome faculty and staff, and our students are just fantastic. Everyone is always so happy. It’s just great. We are The Saints. I just love our school.”
