WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Williamsburg County Emergency Management Division is helping out the residents of the area who are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Matthew by providing food and other items.

Officials say because of the power outages that persist throughout Williamsburg County, Emergency Management will open a Point of Distribution giveaway on Saturday, October 15, starting at 9 a.m. at the Kingstree Recreation Department on Nelson Blvd.

We’re told that the event is a drive-thru process and dash passes will be needed.

Ready-to-eat meals, water, and limited can goods will be provided until supplies last.
