TUCSON (WCBD) — A chihuahua born without front legs is now free to roam thanks to a new set of wheels. The dog, known as “Roo,” was saved from a hoarding house back in September — along with 40 other small dogs.
Because of inbreeding, Roo was born without any front legs. Thanks to donors, $10,000 was raised to get Roo a wheelchair.
“It’s so rewarding to see her flourish and open up and have the opportunity to be a dog,” said Foster Carrillo, who gives Roo two hours of cart time every day.
While Roo is now a healthy and flourishing pup, the dog on wheels is not up for adoption just yet.
