Charleston restaurants open following Hurricane Matthew

CHARLESTON .S.C. (WCBD) — Most businesses in Charleston and the surrounding areas were closed last week in preparation for Hurricane Matthew. Now, several businesses and restaurants are reopening and they’re telling residents about it via social media.

Those who are still experiencing power outages go out for a bite on Monday.

Home Team BBQ is offering free meals and drinks to first responders to thank them for all their help during Hurricane Matthew. Many people were shocked as Sticky Fingers stayed open throughout the entire storm. According to their post on Instagram, they stayed open to provide people who lost power with a dry, lit place to stay and eat.
