(WCBD) — The Charleston Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) is planning to resume normal service on Monday morning, after stopping service due to Hurricane Matthew.
According to CARTA officials, road conditions could still cause detours and delays in some areas.
On Sunday, CARTA began transporting transit riders from Charleston County emergency shelters. Before Hurricane Matthew hit the Lowcountry, CARTA provided emergency service to transport people to shelters throughout the county.
The CARTA Bus Tracker helps residents plan their routes. Anyone with questions can call CARTA Customer Service at 843-724-7420
