NORTH CHARLESTON (WCBD) — Jason Gordon, who lives in the Pepperhill neighborhood, came home Sunday to overwhelming flooding on his street.
He experienced something similar last year during the historic floods. In fact, he had just finished rebuilding.
He will file an insurance claim to now have his home built again.
Agents say the first thing you should do when you return is to stop any damage from expanding. Try to catch leaks or cover holes.
Then, contact your insurance company and review your plan. You should find out your deductible.
Once you know your plan, gather estimates from repair services.
