ANDERSON, S.C. (WSPA) – The Tenth Circuit Solicitor’s Office says they have filed a motion to have the Townville school shooting suspect tried as an adult.
The juvenile is charged with 2 counts of Murder, 3 counts of Attempted Murder, and 5 counts of Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
There will be a hearing in Family Court after the suspect is evaluated by the Department of Juvenile Justice.
The 14-year-old suspect is accused of killing his father, 47-year-old Jeffrey Osborne, before shooting two students and a teacher at Townville Elementary School.
6-year-old Jacob Hall, one of the two students who was shot, died Saturday from his injuries. The other student and teacher Meghan Hollingsworth were both released from the hospital the day of the shooting.
