DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The man who Dorchester County Sheriff’s authorities were searching for in connection with a deadly shooting in Summerville was arrested in Colleton County, Monday afternoon.
Denzel Lavar Kelly, 21, of Summerville is charged with murder. He’s currently being held in the Dorchester County jail. A bond hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4.
On Tuesday, September 27 at around 10 p.m., Jaquito Taro Delilse Williams, 20, of Summerville was reportedly shot in the front yard of his home on Orangeburg Road.
Authorities found Williams near a ditch with fatal gunshot wounds. An autopsy revealed he died from gunshot wounds to the neck and chest, according to Dorchester County Coroner Alice Durr.
Natalie Ruth Biering, 17, of Round O and Bryan Edward Burton, 21, of Summerville were arrested on September 29. The pair is charged with murder. Bond was denied by the magistrate on both suspects.
