Truck or Treat; Kids meeting the drivers behind the wheel

North Charleston (WCBD)- Kohl’s is hosting their Truck-Or-Treat event Saturday, October 1. The event will feature emergency, military, agricultural, culinary, and construction vehicles, along with the men and women who operate these vehicles.

Children are invited to touch, climb on, and ask questions about their favorite trucks in a safe, supervised environment.

If children in our community are ever in an emergency situation where one of these emergency response teams are necessary, their experience at the Kohl’s Truck-Or-Treat event will make a potentially scary situation a little less intimidating.

Various booths will feature different give-a-ways, allowing children to go from vendor to vendor to trick-or-treat their way through the day. A costume contest will be held onsite. Brian Cleary of Y102.5 and 103.5 the WEZL will host the “Helping Heroes” contest.

Dress up as your favorite hero to honor our true heroes, our local first responders and the MUSC caregivers.

Top three winning children will be awarded:
1st Place: Free Stingrays Birthday Party for 10 people
2nd Place: Free Sticky Fingers for a year
3rd Place: Free 4-pack of tickets to Disney on Ice presents “Dream Big”
