While Butler was formally charged in a hearing on Thursday, Aiken and Coleman are in Alabama where they were captured earlier this week. The OCSO is in the extradition process to return the men to the Palmetto State.

“We’re not finished with this investigation,” Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “If you protected these men in any way, you’re going to be charged. There’s just no two ways about it. We warned you and now we’re keeping our promise,” Ravenell added.
