NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Local law enforcement officials are partnering to help ensure that child safety seats are properly installed in vehicles. It’s an effort that’s part of Child Passenger Safety Week, which spans from September 18-24, 2016.
Troopers from the South Carolina Highway Patrol and fire department personnel are set to be at Babies R Us, located at 7220 Rivers Avenue in North Charleston on Saturday September 24 from 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Uniformed personnel will be on hand to discuss Child Passenger Safety Week. People in the community are invited to bring their vehicle, child and child safety seat to the Babies R Us to have a certified child safety seat technician ensure that the seat is properly installed.
