(WCBD) — Sunday night marked the 68th annual Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, California.
Jimmy Kimmel hosted the awards show, which honored the best in television. He joined James Corden for a spin and some ‘Carpool Karaoke’ to kick off the show.
The night’s big winner was “The People vs. O.J. Simpson” which won five awards, including best limited series. Julie Louis-Dreyfus made history when she won her fifth consecutive Emmy for lead actress in the political comedy, “Veep.” Other winners include NBC’s “The Voice” for best reality competition program, and “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” for best variety talk series.

A young boy is being honored, after he grew out his hair for two years to donate it to cancer patients.
Thomas Moore was eight years old when he began growing out his hair to be donated. The video capturing his journey has more than 5 million views on Facebook.
Next month, Thomas will receive an act of kindness award from retired NBA player Derek Anderson’s foundation.
