DENVER (AP) — Police are conducting a standard room-by-room search inside a Denver hospital complex after reports that shots had been fired in the area.
Denver police Officer Tyrone Campbell says the search is standard protocol. No injuries were reported Friday incident at Rose Medical Center, about 2 miles east of downtown.
Campbell says police are looking for a man seen with a gun, described as a white male in his mid-30s wearing a flannel shirt and hat.
Multiple police units responded to calls of shots fired. Officers were on a rooftop of the complex.
The scene outside the complex was calm.
