Sandbags available for residents ahead of Tropical Storm Julia

(WCBD) — Several locations will be providing sandbags to help prepare for the potential impact of Tropical Storm Julia.

Berkeley County

Berkeley County is distributing sandbags at the following locations:

  • Berkeley County Rescue Squad

  • C & B Fire Department
    509 Royle Road, Ladson, SC
  • Caromi Fire Department
    554 College Park Road, Ladson, SC
  • City of Hanahan
    Yeamans Hall and Robinson, Hanahan, SC
  • Cordesville Fire Department
    1931 Highway 402, Moncks Corner, SC
  • Cross Fire Department
    1007 Short Cut Road, Cross, SC
  • Forty-One Fire Department
    1192 Forty One Road, Bonneau, SC
  • Whitesville Fire Department
    115 Sunview Avenue, Moncks Corner, SC

Charleston County

No sandbags being distributed at this time.

Colleton County

Sandbags are available at the Colleton County Emergency Preparedness Agency:

    Walterboro, SC 29488

Georgetown County

No free sandbags being distributed at this time due to a large number of sandbags distributed during Hermine. A new stock hasn’t arrived.
