Man arrested for armed robbery at North Charleston Circle K

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — North Charleston Police say they have arrested the person responsible for an armed robbery at a gas station Monday morning.

Frank Antonio Linen, 28, of North Charleston is charged with armed robbery.

Authorities responded to the Circle K on Rivers Avenue near Target St. just before 4 a.m. on Monday, September 12 in reference to the incident.

As officials were investigating, authorities responded to the Economy Inn and Suites on 5020 Rivers Ave. and found Linen at the hotel. He was found wearing the same clothing the suspect was wearing at the time of the incident, according to the incident report.

Linen was arrested and transported to the Al Cannon Detention Center.

The report goes on to say that Linen admitted to robbing the gas station but claimed the cashier is the mother of his child and was in on the robbery.
